About NLAP

NLAP is the leading association in the North Lakes representing the needs of the serviced accommodation industry, and where appropriate will lobby on behalf of its members where issues affect their businesses.

NLAP builds on a history of over 50 years of local hospitality associations. NLAP was formerly known, until 1st March 2007, as Lakes Hospitality Association (Northern Division).

Full Membership of NLAP is available to serviced accommodation providers (hotels, guest houses, bed and breakfasts, inns etc) which meet the qualifying standard for membership – broadly equivalent to a Visit Britain / AA 3 star Guest Accommodation grading.

Associate Membership is available to individuals or businesses whose activities are linked to the hospitality and tourism industry.

Northern Lakes Accommodation Providers (NLAP) is a membership driven association, representing the serviced accommodation industry in the northern area of the Lake District National Park.

NLAP exists to provide support and advice to its members, by way of information about topical issues and opportunities to meet with others in the business.

NLAP aims to keep its membership central to all that it does and those volunteering to serve on the executive committee are all accommodation providers. This enables the association to remain closely in touch with its members’ needs and minimise its membership fee.

Association Objectives

  • To provide opportunity for presentations, talks and discussions on topical issues relating to the tourism and hospitality industry.
